Broadway is My Beat was a popular crime detective drama broadcast from 1949 to 1954 on CBS. Larry Thor played the street-wise Detective Danny Clover in New York. Charles Calvert portrayed Danny's partner Sergeant Gino Tartaglia and Jack Kruschen as Sergeant Muggavan. The series was produced and directed by Elliott Lewis.

Each show starts with a poetic opening signature, "From Times Square to Columbus Circle - the grandest, the most violent, the lonesomest mile in the world."
